On the left, you can now see Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. The original theatre burned down during a performance, but the modern version was completed in 1997. It offers educational workshops and a permanent exhibition about Shakespeare’s time.

Further along, we’ll pass the London Aquarium, home to sharks and many other fascinating sea creatures.
